Meatball Curry

Okay to pull the curtain down for the year, here's my Meatball curry which  is one of our favorite curry. You can use any choice of meat you like or mix it up to jazz up the flavor.
I've linked my meatball recipes below and leave it to your choice.
I've had so much fun baking and cooking all these dishes and cakes and I hope you readers enjoyed my blog and have taken something from here to your kitchen.

For the curry
Saute ingredients
1 cinnamon stick
2 star anise
1 sprig curry leaves
1 large onion - sliced
2in ginger - pounded
3 pips of garlic - pounded

(A)
4 tbs meat curry powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbs coriander powder
4 cups of water
1 tsp salt

(B)
1 potatoes - peeled and quartered
1 large tomato - quartered
1 red chili - slit lengthwise

1/2 cup of coconut cream

In a deep pot heat some oil, about 4 tablespoon. Add the saute ingredients and cook till the onions have withered.

Add the water and (A) and mix well. Cover the lid and let it simmer in a medium heat for 15 minutes.
Add (B) and let it simmer further till the potatoes are tender.
Add the meatballs and check for seasonings. Pour the coconut cream and mix well. If the gravy has dried up, add about a cup of water and simmer for 5 minutes.

Remove from the heat and serve with warm rice and Raita.

Enjoy...Jue
