Ladies finger with salted fish
One of my favorite veg.
250g ladies fingers - washed, dried and cut into small rounds.
Be sure each of the ladies fingers are dry before you slice them, else you may not be able to get rid of the slime.
In a medium hot wok, add 2 tsp of vegetable oil and the rest of the ingredients below.
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 small onion sliced
2 pips of garlic sliced
50g of salted dry fish, cut into small pieces
-stir for about a minute, till the onions are soft.
Add the vegetable and the following ingredients below:
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
red chili - chopped
- cover the wok and let the veg cook for about 5 min.
Add 2 tbs of coconut cream, stir to mix and the veg is done.
Serve with hot rice and fish curry.
