Chocolate Pie
One can never go wrong with chocolates! This is so true with this pie.
I made a rather small pie and I'm sorely regretting that silly decision.

For the filling ( this is for a 5in tart pan)
100ml cream
250g dark chocolate
2 tbs brown sugar
pinch of salt
1 egg
1 tsp of gelatin powder mixed with a tbs of boiling hot water.
Preheat oven to 180 degree celcius.
Pour cream and place the chocolate chunks in a saucepan and heat over a low heat until the chocolate is melted. Add the sugar and salt. Do not boil the cream. Remove the pan and let cool the mixture down.
In a bowl, beat the egg. Pour a little of the cooled cream slowly into the egg mixture and stir well. Pour the egg mixture back to the cream and mix it until the cream thickens. Pour the gelatin quickly and stir until well combined. Pour chocolate cream into the pie shell and bake for about 30 min or until the mixture is set.
Please make a large pie... you won't regret it, just double the portion.
Enjoy...jue
