Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies




In my quest to search for the ideal Chocolate chip cookie, I came across this version that promises a  "light, crunchy cookie with a great buttery flavor". 

300g plain flour
160g caster sugar
2 egg
250g butter
5g baking powder
5g salt
200g chocolate chips

Put  all the ingredients above except the chocolate chips in a large mixing bowl and mix it well until all the ingredients are well combined.

Now add in the chocolate chips and give it a good mix to distribute the chocolate chips throughout the dough.

Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a small ice-cream scoop, scoop the dough and arrange cookie dough with 2in spacing in between  them. Refrigerate the cookie dough for about one hour to firm up.



When you're ready to bake, heat the oven to 170 deg cel. and bake for 20 min. Remove the cookies and allow it to cool down before storing it.
