Sausage Bun

I would normally get annoyed when my husband goes into the bakery shop and fill his tray with varieties of bun but then I realize it's been ages since the last I made some.
So, letting him off the hook was fair!

To compensate, here's  some Sausage bun.

A
480g bread flour
120g plain flour
110g sugar
10g salt
20g milk powder
4tsp instant yeast

B
1 egg
300ml water

C
60g butter

In a mixer, with a hook attachment, mix all the ingredients in A in a big bowl
Add B and knead it to form a dough. Now add C and continue kneading till the dough is smooth.
Oil a big bowl and place the dough, covering with a tea towel. Let it prove for about an hour.
Punch the dough down and divide dough into 60g portion and roll into a balls and let it rest for 10 min.

Roll the dough into retangular shape and place a hot dog on it. Cut slits on both sides and flip each strand to overlap the sausage.  Gently place it on a baking tray, giving enough space for the bun to expand while baking.  Finish the rest of the dough. Cover the buns and proof for another 45min.

Heat oven to 180 deg cel. Egg wash the buns and sprinkle some sesame seed over them.
Bake for 20 min until buns are golden color. Remove and set aside to cool.

Enjoy...jue
