My not so successful cakes

These are some of my truly loved cakes...disastrous cakes that I kinda glad it happened.  It does bring back to a time when I was just beginning to ice and pipe boarders.

With this is one. hmm...a long list of things to blame, me  being too impatient, for one. I should have known better than to ice the cake at 2 in the morning!

Nevertheless the cake was perfect for our tea time treat. 
We had a good laugh and the boys facial expression was priceless.
