Home-made Chocolate Sauce
This is an easy and versatile chocolate sauce that's so useful to have in your fridge. Needless to say that this home-made version is so much tastier and smoother than the store bought one and not to mention how much money you can save.
You can pour this thick sauce over ice-cream, make milk shakes, spread over a slice of bread or even drizzle over cakes and brownies. I suppose the choices are endless and I doubt it will last more than a week.
65 g– ½ cup cocoa powder
250 ml – 1 cup water
300 gms – 1 ½ cups sugar (though the original recipe called for 2 cups)
1 pinch salt
¼ teaspoon vanilla
125g - 1/2 cup of bittersweet or milk chips or block - break it down to smaller pieces
