Cinnamon Loaf
Hmm... what can I say about this gorgeous bread, delicious definitely to the last crumb.
I'm using my bread machine to help me knead the dough. You can knead by hand or use a hook paddle attached to your cake mixer.
In a pan pour 1 cup milk and about 90g of butter.
Gently heat it till the butter is melted. Set aside to cool to room temperature.
Add 31/2 tsp of instant yeast and set aside for 10min.
In your bread machine, pour the above liquid in the bread pan.
Add 2 eggs - beaten
Now for the dry ingredients.
31/2 cups of bread flour
1/3 cup of sugar
1 tsp of salt
Set your machine to knead setting and press start. This would take about 2 hours. While the dough is resting, prepare the cinnamin sugar. Prepare your bread pan by rubbing butter all over the pan.
4tbs of brown sugar
1tbs of cinammon powder - mix it well
Some melted butter
Remove the dough from the machine and punch the dough down.
In your work table, dust some flour and divide the dough to two.
Roll one part of the dough to a retangular shape.
Spread the melted butter generously all over. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar.
Roll the dough tightly and tuck the end to secure it.
Gently place the rolled dough, with the folded side facing down into your bread pan. Repeat the next dough. Cover with a cling wrap and place it in a warm place for another two hours.
Now we are ready to bake this beauty. Place the tins in a preheated oven (200 deg cel) for about 30 min till the bread turn golden brown.
Remove from heat and gently remove both the bread from the pan and let it cool down.
Do bake this bread and don't let the four hour wait put you off.
Love to hear from you.
